Good Morning

I know you will have a good day. Both Spring Garden and Hanover are great schools with really good students! You shouldn’t have any discipline problems, just follow the Classroom Management Rules.

Spring Gargen

• Tuesdays you will be in the Art Room. The Cart goes in the back of the room and the red cable to the airport should be plugged by the kiln room door.
• Wednesdays you will be in the Music Room. The chairs and desks should be set up when you get there. If not see the custodian. The cart and airport should be plugged in, in the front of the room
• Thursdays you will be in the Library. .The computer cartis stored in the music room, Move it to the Library and plug the cart and the airport in in the back where the other computers are. You will plug the red cable into a hub

Hanover

• You will be in the Library both Monday and Friday.

Procedures

You may use #30(both schools) as teacher computer. Log into "student" password is "student."

The students know were they sit and they know what computer they are assigned. At the beginning of each class, you will call students up to get their computers by number. Grades 3-5 have their own accounts, 1st & 2nd grades have to log into student accounts. You may have to help 1st grade. Wait until they are quiet to call them up.

Each student is assigned his/her own computer. I usually call 4-6 students, by number, up at a time to get the computers. About 8-10 minutes before the end of class, I have students start shutting down their computers and putting them away.

Classroom Management

Students all know the rules in A.I.

• Enter & leave in a quiet, orderly manner.
• Raise your hand to speak
• Follow directions the first time
• Show respect for everyone

First Offense: Stand and apologize to everyone for wasting our A.I. time.

Second Offense: Write an apology:

‘Dear (Classroom Teacher’s Name)

Mr. Hunt (your name) had to call on me at least twice in A.I. Class to today for not following the rules. We just thought you should know.

(Student’s Signature)”

(I do not expect the classroom teacher to hand out any punishment for this, only to be aware of it. The punishment is writing the note and giving it to the tteacher)

Third Offense: Write an apology:

‘Dear Mom/Dad

Mr. Hunt (your name) had to call on me at least three times in A.I. Class to today for not following the rules. We just thought you should know.

(Student’s Signature)”

Must take it home and get it signed by a parent and brought back the next day.

Hooking It All Up

Mrs. Roseman in the office has the key yo the lock

Art Room

• Put cart in back of the room.
• Plug in is by the kiln room

Music Room

• Cart goes up between chaulk board and desk
• Plug is in front of the room

SG Library

• Take the Computer Cart from the Music Room to the Library.
• Put the cart in front on the counter facing the student.
• Plug the cart into a wall plug.
• Plug the red ethernet cord into the wall next to the printers in a hub.
• Put the screen down, button next to outside door.
• Plug in the projector cart.
• Plug the projector cord into the side of the computer.

End Of Day

• Make sure all computers are plugged into the chargers.
• Lock the door.
• Take the cart back to the Music Room and make sure it is plugged in.
• Take projector cart & chair back to the Music Room (if used).

• 3rd, 4th and 5th grade is play First in Math.
• 1st and 2nd grade may go on Kid Pix.
